Large ACF Croatia projects have been selected!

The largest call of the Active Citizens Fund in Croatia has been completed! The call for large projects was opened on March 10 this year with an available fund of 3.15 million Euros, and on October 20, the Fund Operator selected 19 projects in three Program outcomes.
In July this year, 50 concept notes were selected for the second stage of the Call. A total of 46 applications were received within the deadline for submission of complete project proposals. A total of 46 project applications were evaluated: 18 under Program Outcome 1 “Strengthened civil society watchdog/advocacy role”, 13 under Program Outcome 2 “Increased support for human rights, rule of law and good governance” and 15 under Program Outcome 3 “Strengthened democratic culture and civic awareness and engagement ”. According to the established scoring threshold, the results achieved in the process of independent expert evaluation and the available funds within each Program outcome, the Selection Committee recommended to the Fund Operator a total of 19 projects for financing. Six projects were included in the reserve list (2 in each Program outcome). Distribution of projects recommended for financing according to Program outcomes is as follows: 10 projects in outcome 1, 5 in outcome 2 and 4 in outcome 3. As many as 17 projects include partnerships with organizations from donor countries.
