{"id":549,"date":"2020-03-10T11:14:28","date_gmt":"2020-03-10T10:14:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acfcroatia.hr\/?page_id=549"},"modified":"2023-04-27T11:49:53","modified_gmt":"2023-04-27T09:49:53","slug":"ad-hoc-action-projects","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/acfcroatia.hr\/en\/ad-hoc-action-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Ad-hoc action projects"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Reopening date: June 30, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requested contribution of ACF funding<\/strong>: between 1.000 and 5.000 EUR<strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Available indicative budget for AHA projects:&nbsp;<\/strong>215.000 Euros<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Remaining budget available: <\/strong>181.588 Euro<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project maximum funding rate:<\/strong>&nbsp;100 % of eligible expenditure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project duration:<\/strong>&nbsp;1 \u2013 3 months<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadlines for submission of project proposals:&nbsp;<\/strong>until August 24, 2020 or until the available funds are exhausted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Opening date of the application process starts on August 3, 2020<\/strong>&nbsp;and selection of project applications will take place on monthly basis as follows: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Deadline for monthly submission in <strong>2023\u2013 Projects received between dates will be considered on specified <\/strong>Selection Committee meeting<\/td><td>Selection Committee meeting dates<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>November 24 \u2013 December 22<\/td><td>January 16<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>December 23 &#8211; January 24<\/td><td>February 7<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>January 25 \u2013 &nbsp;February 21<\/td><td>March 07<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>February 22 \u2013 March 25<\/td><td>April 07<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>March 26 \u2013 April 22<\/td><td>May 06<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>April 23 \u2013 May 23<\/td><td>June 07<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>May 24 \u2013 June 23<\/td><td>July 07<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>June 24 \u2013 August 24<\/td><td>September 07*<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>* Due to the use of annual leave, the meeting of the Selection Committee will not meet in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Call for proposals has been designed to provide financial support for Croatian CSOs active in one (or more) of the Programme Priority Areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Democracy, active citizenship, good governance and transparency,<\/li><li>Human rights and equal treatment through combating any discrimination on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation or gender identity,<\/li><li>Social justice and inclusion of vulnerable groups,<\/li><li>Gender equality and gender-based violence,<\/li><li>Environment and climate change.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>and whose social impact supported by the Call will contribute to at least one of the Programme Outcomes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Strengthened civil society watchdog\/advocacy role;<\/li><li>Increased support for human rights, rule of law and good governance;<\/li><li>Strengthened democratic culture and civic awareness and engagement;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The main purpose of the Ad-hoc Action Call is to <strong>support civil society organisations and civic initiatives when urgent responses are needed<\/strong> either to tackle immediate challenges (e.g., pressures on civic space and incidences of hate speech) or to <strong>seize very specific windows of opportunity for influencing public opinion and policy process<\/strong> through various forms of citizen participation and public action including campaigning and advocacy, <strong>legal, communicational or other<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the Call for Ad-hoc Action projects, the Programme will <strong>support immediate civic action as a rapid response to an urgent situation or identified problems, within the Programme\u2019s Priority Areas<\/strong> (see section Focus of the call, page 10) that affect citizens and\/or the CSOs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposed actions need to <strong>justify the need for a rapid response<\/strong> and the <strong>organizers\u2019 ability to react quickly, in a way that open avenues for the solution<\/strong> to the identified problem, threat or opportunity arising in the urgent situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under this Call,&nbsp;<strong>each individual organization can receive the maximum of 3 grants&nbsp;<\/strong>in the role of lead applicant.
