Foundation for Human Rights and Solidarity<\/a> from Zagreb, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smart.hr\">Association for Civil Society Development SMART<\/a> from Rijeka and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnvos.si\">CNVOS \u2013 Centre for Information Service, Co-operation and Development of NGOs<\/a> from Ljubljana (Slovenia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Active Citizens Fund priority areas of support are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Democracy, active citizenship, good governance and<br>transparency,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human rights and equal treatment through combating any<br>discrimination on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief,<br>gender, disability, age, sexual orientation or gender identity,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social justice and inclusion of vulnerable groups,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gender equality and gender-based violence,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Environment and climate change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Programme is based on common values of respect for human dignity, freedom,\ndemocracy, equality, the rule of law and the respect for human rights including\nthe rights of persons belonging to minorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expected outcomes of\nthe ACF in Croatia are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthened civil<br>society watchdog\/advocacy role;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased support for human rights, rule of law and good<br>governance <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthened democratic culture and civic awareness and engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhanced capacity and sustainability of civil society<br>(organisations and sector)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhanced<br>collaboration between Croatia and donor state entities involved in the<br>Programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthened regional (cross-border) cooperation in the civil<br>society sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Fund Operater will provide financial\nassistance of the Fund for projects addressing at least one of the\nabove-mentioned outcomes in programme priority fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\naddition, the Programme in Croatia shall address the following country-specific\nareas and concerns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthen the capacity and<br>sustainability of the civil society sector;
